Memory verse - "I will put the law within them, and write it in their hearts." Jeremiah 31:33
A long time ago, God had made a promise or covenant with the children of Israel. As long as they obeyed His Ten Commandments, He provided for them, but if they broke any laws, He punished them. God saw the people continue to break His laws. He still loved them and decided to give them a new promise, or a New Covenant. He would write His law on their hearts.
