Most mornings when Will leaves for work, Jack asks, "Why does Daddy go to work all the days?" I have been using this as one of the many teachable moments. We have been talking about how hard work yields money, and money provides the things we need. I also hope and pray that this will foster a grateful heart for the things that God provides for us through Will's work.
This morning, instead of asking the above question, Jack asked, "Does Daddy work so I can have dessert?"
I think he might be getting it.
